VeriSolv Technologies Awarded GSA STARS II Contract
Herndon, VA (December 1, 2011) - VeriSolv Technologies, Inc. (VeriSolv) was recently awarded an 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services II (STARS II) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). STARS II is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract designed to promote small business.
The 8(a) STARS II GWAC provides federal civilian and Department of Defense agencies with a host of benefits, including: 8(a) socioeconomic credit transferrable to the agency; pre-competed, easy to use contracts; access to proven 8(a) small business technology providers; shortened procurement lead time and a low user-access fee built into contractor’s ceiling prices. It features a five-year base with one five-year option and has a $10 billion program ceiling. Directed task orders, up to $4 million each, are allowable for federal civilian and Department of Defense activities.
The scope of the 8(a) STARS II program is centered on functional areas (FA), derived from the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS). VeriSolv is qualified to provide services in each Constellation I Functional Area:
  • FA1, NAICS 541511: Custom Computer Programming Services
  • FA2, NAICS 541512: Computer Systems Design Services
  • FA3, NAICS 541513: Computer Facilities Management Services
  • FA4, NAICS 541519: Other Computer Related Services

VeriSolv Technologies to Perform IV&V
of VA’s Electronic Contract Management System
Herndon, VA (September 12, 2011) - VeriSolv Technologies, Inc. (VeriSolv) today announced the award of a contract by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition & Logistics (OAL) for independent verification and validation (IV&V) services. The contract consists of a one-year base award and four option years, with an award value of $5.2 million if all options are exercised.
VeriSolv will provide IV&V assessments of the Enterprise Acquisition Systems Service (EAS), Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS), which was designed to house all VA procurement and contracting data. The system also provides VA with enterprise-level Business Intelligence (BI) reporting on procurement and contracting activities. eCMS is an integration of proprietary Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) products, existing Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) software, and customized integration and software.

VeriSolv Technologies to Perform IV&V for VA Networx
Herndon, VA (July 12, 2011) - VeriSolv Technologies, Inc. (VeriSolv) has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Telecommunications to perform an Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of the Operations Support Systems (OSS) supporting VA’s Networx transition.
The OSS supports initial order processing and service provisioning through billing reconciliation under the Networx requirements and processes. The OSS functionality, including asset and financial management, is available via a web-based user interface. The VA OSS is currently in production and the contractor is in the Operations and Maintenance phase.
VeriSolv will conduct an in-depth technical assessment to verify and validate that VA is receiving the contracted services from the vendor supplying the Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) product and services. In addition, VeriSolv will test and validate OSS operations to ensure the VA’s requirements are being met and that the new OSS is performing the functions that are expected by the VA. At conclusion of the IV&V, VeriSolv will deliver a detailed, structured report of findings of deficiencies and recommendations for their remediation to VA.

VeriSolv Technologies and NISH Extend Partnership
Providing Business Analysis that Support the AbilityOne Program
Herndon, VA (August 18, 2010) - VeriSolv Technologies, Inc. (VeriSolv) announced today that it will partner with NISH to provide business analysis services in support of NISH’s mission to provide employment opportunities to people with significant disabilities. VeriSolv won a contract from NISH to analyze NISH contracts’ pricing guidelines and business-process for pricing of NISH’s lines of business. VeriSolv will examine 25 products and services to produce a pricing requirements document.
VeriSolv, an industry leader in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), also provides management consulting services in technology, network, and infrastructure management.
NISH is one of two national, nonprofit federally designated agencies that supports other nonprofits participating in the AbilityOne Program, which provides employment opportunities for people who are blind or have other significant disabilities by procuring federal contracts for goods and services.
