For this position, the Data Architect will serve as a senior Data Architect for Health Data Architecture, Systems Engineering and Integration, Health IT, in the Office of Information (OIT).

The Data Architect’s responsibilities include:
The Data Architect builds and refines data architecture in a complex distributed database environment, participates in data architecture, analysis, and design, focusing on and leading the areas of data migration and data integration architecture, for the Health Data Architecture program.

The Data Architect participates in data analysis and design, focusing on and leading the areas of data migration and data integration architecture. The Data Architect leverages existing data migration plans including the Application Modernization Data Migration White Paper, and the Health Information Architecture Data Migration Strategy. The Data Architect partners with other programs to architect, plan, and sponsor data migration solutions -- these partners include such programs as Standards and Legacy Support, Standards and Terminology Services, Health Data Repository, Administrative Data Repository and Dynamic Information Model. Collaborating with Standards and Terminology Services, the Data Architect performs gap analysis of legacy data standardization plans. The Data Architect also performs gap analysis between planned HDA data architecture functions and already established data architecture functions, particularly as previously handled by Application Structure and Integration Services. Teaming with other stakeholders, the Data Architect develops robust time-phased data migration strategies and processes, and evaluates and recommends data migration tooling solutions. The Data Architect participates as a thought leader and key advisor to the Health Data Architecture management team.

VeriSolv has a government contract to upgrade and validate an extremely large health care records system. For this position, the Program QA Manager will lead the SQA (Software QA) team of the HDS project to ensure the release made to the production is proper in quality, scope and performance.

position specifics
The Program QA Manager will actively engage with business requirements, system development, configuration management and QA teams throughout the product design, development, testing and deployment process. The Program QA Manager must also be able to lead the QA team in quickly learning the intricacies of the HDS service and development environment, and use that knowledge to help rapidly build quality releases, and deploy them to the production environment.

The Program QA Manager will be involved in reviewing the requirements and creating and executing test plans and test cases of the software system according the VA's and/or VeriSolv standards. The Program QA Manager will need to establish the communication protocol with the development team to provide necessary information to solve the issues found in SQA and to prioritize the QA tasks with the clients according to the release schedule.

The Program QA Manager will also need to report the status of the SQA team to the clients and VeriSolv management teams .

·Establish physical database parameters to ensure optimal database and application performance.
