Herndon, VA (September 18, 2009) - VeriSolv Technologies, Inc., an Information Technology (IT) solutions provider, has been named to the Washington Technology Fast 50, a list of the fastest growing small businesses in the government contracting arena. VeriSolv’s federal revenue grew at a compound annual rate of 121 percent between 2004 and 2008, making the company the recipient of this prestigious award.
The Fast 50 list, part of Washington Technology’s annual small business special report, recognizes the most successful companies in the government marketplace, as determined by each company’s revenue growth over a five-year period. To be considered, companies had to meet the federal government criteria for a small business or be an 8(a) company.
“We partner with our customers as a seamless organization, and we operate on the premise that their challenges are our challenges, so together we produce the best possible results,” said René Curbelo, VeriSolv President and CEO. “That is the reason, I believe, we have had great success. I am proud to find ourselves in such illustrious company.” VeriSolv provides a range of services to the government, as well as commercial entities, including program management support services, system and software engineering, quality assurance and control, telecommunications and infrastructure support, and emerging technology expertise.
Washington Technology, which publishes the Fast 50 list annually, is a member of the 1105 Government Information Group, the leading provider of integrated information and media for the federal IT market. Of the 27 million small businesses in the U.S., Dun & Bradstreet estimates that one percent, approximately 270,000 businesses, participate in any type of government contract bidding.
